kxk5420:  gosh I really don’t know. I hadnt noticed that most come with 4.  Maybe because mines over 100 years old and that’s just how they made them then. Could it be that one you’re looking at has double claws so it’s secure with 4?  I can’t imagine mine with 4.  To be honest you really can’t notice them. The whiteness of platinum against diamond means they don’t really show. One claw is a bit wonky so we’ll get that sorted out before our wedding in June – I’ll get it cleaned up again too. Can LM show you a six claw in a photo so you can compare?
