I don’t have a picture of the before but this was part way through cocktail hour. I got the idea for the cards with the buttons from Mrs Sparkler. We put a glue dot on the back of each card and put them alphabetically on a blown up engagement picture so that as guests took their cards our pictures was revealed.

@weddingbound:  Thanks for the tip! I have been wanting to go to Michaels to see what they have for DIY but haven’t gotten a chance to get over there yet.

@PinkAndPearls2013:  The lil pearls actually come on a roll like tape and you cut it and they stick…..easy to use. The glitter is also on a roll like tape (super easy to use) I found it in the sticker section! Happy wedding planning!

@MrsFeatherbottom:  Ahhh I LOVE this idea! I’ve been wanting to do nerdy pinback buttons, but couldn’t figure out how to incorporate them.

We don’t have all of our pro pics back yet, but here is a guest pic of the escort cards.

We painted an old frame yellow, and I also painted all those little clothespins (silly!)

On the front were the guest names, and on the back was a picture corresponding to their table names.  Our tables were football teams (for my sports loving husband)

I wouldn’t call mine super creative or anything but I like it. I got black foam board from Michaels and will be putting gold antique edged card stock cards on it with a rectangular white card on top with people’s names. Then a black cut out number over some burgundy ribbon at the top of each of these.  Sorry I don’t have a picture, my description probably makes no sense.

There won’t be any escort cards because people will find their table number on the seating chart. I will be having miniature Chinese takeout boxes with names and a colored dot corresponding to meal choice on them. Haven’t decided if I will leave these on a table for guests to pick up (so I guess similar to escort cards actually) or put them on the tables and people can just choose their seat after grabbing their box from the 8 or so at the table.
