@hippiebee:  your set looks really pretty!

excuse my dry hands that make it look like I’m am old lady 😂😬 I bought this band from Etsy for like 30 bucks to see if I liked the matching band to my e ring. I ended up loving the look so I went ahead and purchased the diamond band. I think cz is a great way to try different looks before you pull the trigger on a big purchase, or just a beautiful alternative if you want something sparkly but don’t care to spend so much on diamonds or moissanite. Honestly the cz band I bought sparkles so much and looks just as good as my diamonds. It is rose gold plated silver. 🙂 I only wore it like twice because I liked it so much that I purchased the diamond band pretty quickly. Maybe I’ll give the cz one to my niece or something.

@greeneyedbee:  Love the band!! Which Etsy shop if you don’t mind me asking?

And yes OP! I bought a solitaire from Pescara to see how I’d like it and her rings are so pretty!

I have a natural Diamond but I am seriously considering a replica in a Cz or moissy due to the fact I work in a really impoverished area and my ring would be highly offensive to my clientele. I don’t want them thinking I can’t connect or know their struggle if they see this  large Diamond on my hand

@hippiebee:  Your rings are both stunning! I too have CZ. I also had a set from the same store when I married my first husband, had them for 5 years and they never went cloudy. Diamonds are beautiful, but I would probably have a panic attack if I spent that much money on a ring…unless it was a small lab diamond (only because I don’t care for mined diamonds) or possibly an antique ring.

@hippiebee:  Ha!  That’s funny because after I posted this I thought the same exact thing, it would be futile to buy a CZ that’s a replica. I may just opp for a plain wedding band.

I have one CZ ring and one white sapphire ring, both set in sterling silver! I ended up preferring the CZ, it’s a 6mm antique cushion cut CZ purchased from diamondcz.co.uk (who specialize in precision cut CZ). For context, the white sapphire is an 8x6mm; both settings were purchased from Jamming Gems and I set each stone myself. They were bought in April 2020 as tester rings so I could figure out what I liked without having to go into a jewelry store during the pandemic. Given how long that’s been going on, the CZ ring has become my daily ring. Even if I do end up upgrading to a moissanite, I plan to keep the CZ as a travel/adventure ring!
