Here is what I have made for my shabby chic mismatched wedding. I have 25 of them. Different heights, different tiers. I got all plates, vases, and candlestick holders at thrift stores. We are serving regular sized and mini cupcakes, a few small cakes, cookies, brownies, candies. ❤

Cupcake towers are amazingly exensive, I’m figuring out. We’re going a little bigger with a 5 or 6 tier cupcake tower and I can’t find one for less than $70 or so. I may have to wait on the 40% off coupon at Michael’s.

Ours was able to fit 300 standard size cupcakes!

@solidarity:  look on saveoncrafts.com i got our which is 5 tiers for $56 i think.. then i spray painted it and added ribbon.. still came out less then $70

I got mine on Amazon with free shipping.  It’s a 4 tier (one tier on table) and I think I paid $26.  It’s cardboard so then you decorate it.
