There are a few bees on here who, like me, have contour bands and occasionally where them alone without it feeling all that strange. If you love it, go for it!

Here are some photos I just took in terrible indoor lighting but you get the idea ๐Ÿ™‚

I don’t have a curved band, but mine is a different shape (alternating marquise sapphires w/round diamonds). Not that I ever really plan to, but I like that my band can be worn on its own without looking like it is missing something. I like that my e-ring and band have two distinct designs that still compliment each other.

knew I didn’t want a straight wedding band so I have no regrets with mine!

I don’t wear mine alone though.

I chose a curved band because I didn’t want a matchy band, and, the basket of mine means it won’t sit flush..not married yet but I snuck a photo awhile back. I like the intentional spacing.

I’m having one made right now to fit with my ering. I use a sterling one at the moment just to see how I would like it.

Mine’s not traditionally curved, but I do love my chevron! My original bridal set is soldered together (it was my husband’s great-grandmother’s), and my chevron was custom made to add some more finger coverage and also act as a standalone band when I need it. I totally love the shape it makes with the whole set, and also don’t mind wearing it alone ๐Ÿ™‚

    Here’s a closer look:

Okay so I cannot for the life of me get these photos to rotate – they’re saved on my computer the right way but when I upload them they rotate? Someone help a girl out. (ETA they also won’t stay small even though I resized them… ugh!)

Anyway, here’s my band-to-be – channel set chevron band, sits around my oval perfectly. Only a few months til I can wear it! But had to wear it around the house for an hour after purchasing ๐Ÿ˜‰

I had a tiara ring as an enhancer for a while. They’re beautiful!

If we ever decide to get a band because of my setting it will have to be a chevron but even then it will be hard because the sides (?) of the ring are so high.

I’ve been so obsessed with this type of ring! We haven’t started shopping for bands yet, but I saw this one in the costume jewelry section at JC Penny’s the other day and had to try it on with my ring lol.  Sorry the picture is super blury, I couldn’t get it to focus for the life of me.
