Here is mine, and this is my first time posting it on the Bee! I plan on doing a full review/experience post after my dress is done.
Sorry about the crop face– I was making the most ridiculous uncomfortable face ever!
Dress is being made by Mary, at Mary’s Bridal in Montebello–a seamstress I found in the LA area, she’s great! Still needs a lot of work. Lace trim on neckline, and bottom need to be added, A second layer of petticoat (pic only has one layer), boning needs to be longer to prevent bunching at my waist, and extra fabric removed to prevent bnunching in my tummy area…oh, and considering a blingy sash to be added.

your dress is like EXACTLY what I want. except i’d like a cluster of slightly smaller applique flowers instead of the one big one. GORGEOUS

@Whiteway: I’m not sure what the desinger though. My bridal consultant said that that designer is really good about making changes. She mentioned that gnerally Lazaro (the designer of the other dress I was considering) typically does not let you make custom changes.
Thanks so much!

@laughs: thanks! polka dots are kinda hard to find in bridal gowns so I was super excited when I found out they could make it with the polka dot overlay. I’m sure they still have the pattern if you want to ask about it call or e-mail Dolly Couture. Nickie is the sales rep that handled everything for me and was amazing!

So many beautiful gowns! You all look gorgeous! My dress was designed and made for me by a local seamstress, who surpassed my expectations. She did a great job creating my vision. I couldn’t have been happier.
Here are some photos:

@smcopp89: …and Your photographer have a good taste. I like all, BUT my favorite is the black-white composition…it reminds me the scene-feelings of the Kill Bill movie….the scene before wedding when Uma T. heard the pan’s pipe tune. Wonderful!

@MrsPaulsBabyBallerina: Interesting…. I wonder why not they have not let to make changes, if I have other expectation.

Did anyone else do this? I am in the process of having a dress that I purchased for $200 at a sample sale completely reconstructed to be my dream dress. I would love to see more custom dresses from US seamstresses!
