This is my custom ring, no heirlooms in it, the center is Moissanite, 8mm or 2ct, 1mm halo and band, rhodium dipped white gold. It took a few months and was just under 3K with Schubach.

Here is my custom ring.

It’s 1.5ct centre and the 6 “small” diamonds add up to another 1ct. Its 18kt palladium and was also engraved with the date 🙂

It was disgend by my Fiance and our jewler (who is amazing to deal with).

There are 2 pictures of it from the day/first few days, but had to have the head altered a little bit to accommodate my incredibly hardness on my stuff, so the gold extends a little bit further past the stone now then it did. Now I just have to figure out a custom band that will look nice with it.

Mine is a cluster ring with a sapphire that Fiance had purchased while travelling in Burma before we met, with the idea that he’d save it for something special.  The diamonds are from a watch that belonged to my great grandmother.  I know clusters get mixed reactions around here, but I think mine is delicate, unique and quite lovely.

Here’s mine. My Fiance designed it using diamonds from a ring that was my mom’s from her grandmother. We had talked about rings and I told him I really liked the two-tone gold rings (since I wear both yellow and white gold jewelry), and really liked the ‘twist’ detail.

Mine are both custom.

White gold e-ring with wrap:

Rose gold solitaire with rose-carved wedding band (note the middle band was not custom, it is a stock piece from LOGR on etsy):

I am also in the process of having a double halo reset made for the diamond in the solitaire.  I will set the rose gold solitaire with a moissanite to be my stand in.

I work with fabric and most of the married ladies I work with say that their prong rings often snag fabric. I wanted a simple ring with a bezel or half bezel set so I wouldn’t have the same issue. The center is about a carat and the side stones come to 1/2 carat. I wanted to use the diamonds from my grandmothers ring as part of the wedding band but her stones are to large. Grrr.

jwaka24:  My ring was so “cheap” (FI thought it would be a lot more) because we provided about half of the diamonds. Most of the diamonds on the band is from his mom. He really only paid for the halo and the basket. It took forever to make, about 2 months, but they said it was the most intricate ring they had ever done. I was not very happy with the wait time haha.

ETA: I wouldn’t suggest putting a diamond on the inside of the band. After a little over a month, my mom’s diamond fell out. I had it replaced with her birthstone so it would still represent her.

I just found my mom’s old rings. The bue topaz one was a gift not her e-ring but the one on my pinky was her e-ring when she was married to my dad. I’m going to have it reset into a white gold solitaire ring that fits me (she had really tiny fingers haha, it’s probably like a size 3.5) to be my RHR since it represents my mom and dad. I always wanted a heart diamond.

My fiancé had mine made off of a picture of one I had shown him before. It’s a 1 carat Center stone set in a rose gold halo setting. it cost just under $6,000 to make.

Mine is pretty simple but I’ll share it anyway. While there are no heirlooms included, the ring itself is a replication of my original engagement ring, an antiuqe, which sadly fell to pieces. It is still being made and I can’t wait to get it! Total time from designing the ring to selecting the stones and actually making it will wind up being about 2 1/2 months but it’ll be worth it. The center stone is .41ct, E color, VS2 clarity. The side stones are chosen to match but I don’t actually know their exact specifications. Band is 18k white gold with a platinum head to hold the stones. Total cost is $3,505.2017-04-10_0005

Not as fancy as some of the fabulous rings shown here, but this is mine:

I enjoy how unique the leaves are, and I went with a square band because I’m a fan of stronger lines. I tried to toe the line between dainty and strong – I have gigantic, strong and scarred hands as an engineer, but I still wanted something pretty!
