It was ok, I rarely saw my consultant. I went back 3 times before I got my dress

I had a really good experience. I went on a weeknight, rather than a weekend, and made an appointment before-hand. My consultant was friendly and helpful and didn’t pressure me, which is important to me.

This is mine!  My first visit on a Sunday was so so.  The consultant was definitly helping to many customers and I didn’t get any help putting on or taking off dresses for her.  I went back a few months later also on a Sunday though and it was great.  The consultant was great and pulled a dress for me that I would have never picked myself.  Once I put it on though I knew it was the one. I did get it in ivory, while the one in the link is white.

I had an ok experience at David’s Bridal. I thought the quality of the dresses was lacking. I would only suggest DB if you absolutely cannot afford to spend more than about $800 for your gown.

I had a good experience too.  I went in on a weekday afternoon, had an attentive consultant who actually pulled my dress for me (which wasn’t one I had on my list!) and had fun with the appointment.

I don’t have a picture of my dress on this computer and it’s discontinued anyway, so it wouldn’t really help you out 🙂

But I can respond about my experience there. I got my dress and the Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses there. The experience was fine. Not great, not terrible. I went to other salons where I was pampered a lot more, but I ended up liking the DB dress the best, plus it was only $300! I’d recommend going on a weekday if you can. I went dress shopping there for my first time ever on a Tuesday at like 3 p.m. We had the whole store to ourselves and our consultant was really helpful. By about 5 p.m. when we were leaving, the store was filling up with people going in after work. I went back again on a Saturday afternoon and ended up choosing my dress then, and it was insane! Luckily by then I knew what I liked and didn’t like, so I didn’t need help from the consultant. Good luck and have fun!
