I’ve seen photos of different kinds of candy/dessert/whatever bars at weddings and I think they’re so cute and something fun for the guests! Please share your pictures or inspiration photos, or what your plans or ideas are! I’ve even heard of a bacon bar! As much as Fiance would seriously LOVE that, I don’t think it’s for me lol

cls9q: I think it’s fun to do a table with vintage candies. The younger guests like it because it’s new to them, and the older guests love it because it reminds them of their younger days.
Dependiing on the era you want to feature you can choose things like candy cigarettes, licorice pipes, Boston Baked Beans, jawbreakers and of course chicken bones!

I’m planning one as well, I’m going to get my candy at nuts.com and I have been buying my candy jars little by little! I love candy! But it gets to be pricy between the jars and the candy! I’m guessing for 100 people like 700-800 total

This is the desert table I created for my wedding. It was so fun and all DIY.

We had a candy bar. All my guests LOVED it. 🙂

We had a purple and green candy bar. Bought all the candy in downtown Los Angeles at a candy warehouse for SUPER cheap, and carted it across the country to our wedding in North Carolina. We bought different dishes at Michaels with coupons, and then sold them to another bride after the wedding. We had things like m&ms, taffy, gumballs, jordan almonds, jelly beans, frogs (my fave!), etc. My sister made the cards. We had some nuts, too, to break up the sweetness 🙂

We had a popcorn bar, but it wasn’t anything super decorated. In fact the venue didn’t even bother to take the popcorn out of the big bags it came in lol. Oh well, people loved it!

We will be doing a popcorn bar similar to this using different Koated Kernels falovored popcorns (i.e. rasberry cheesecake, cinnamon roll, cheddar jalepno, etc).
