Here is mine.  I just bought them last weekend and am very impatiently waiting to get them from the jeweler.  I’m going to have a very hard time waiting until the wedding to wear them!

@AshleyR83:  I had no idea.  I went to visit my sister for the weeekend and we decided to go look in the store she bought hers. My Fi wasn’t even with me and it was the first time I tried on bands.  I just loved the way this looked and knew I wasn’t going to love anything as much!

@AshleyR83:  OMG this band is beautiful (I have a serious bezel addiction)!!! And it looks fantastic with your engagement ring! May I ask where you found it??

@AshleyR83 – Thanks! It was actually my husband that suggested it! We went to the jewelry store to look at bands, and he pointed out the one I got and said “that one has green, you like green”. I tried it on just for the heck of it and it was perfect! (And then I found it online for 1/3 of the price the store wanted to charge.)

DIAMONDS ARE GEMSTONES. They DO NOT, in fact, belong to their own special category! They are colorless gems, sometimes paired with the same colorless gems or with colored gems.

Thank you. This has been your educational Public Service Announcement for the day. Tongue Out

(On a more related note…I love the bands you’re posting, so pretty!)

This is what I picked but I not with this stone, the gemstone in mine will be Alexandrite my birthstone. It changes colors from blue, purple, to red depending on the time of day and lighting. I also asked for the genstone to not look lower then the setting it is in.   Photo of the ring and then the stone I picked out. I can’t wait to see it after it’s made! Cool

I’m reviving this thread out of pure excitement. I just ordered a new art deco diamond and ruby wedding band to pair with my pave diamond solitaire. Can’t wait to get it!
