ladyvictoria: Gorgeous rings! Thank you so much. I love my heart brilliant diamond. Got her on a cheaper deal due to her apparently being an ‘undesirable’ diamond but as my jeweller has showed me that a stone is more than just what is on paper. She is shallow and a J colour but personally I think she has an amazing shape, the colour works for the setting and her shallowness definitely doesn’t take away from her sparkle and fire (as shown even on my rubbish iPhone photos). If you consider a heart shape I strongly recommend seeing it because they’re shapes can vastly vary. And if you want one that isn’t a halo or plain solitaire you may have to go custom, there often isn’t much setting choice for them unfortunately.

used to rotate this one with my ering, when I was engaged, that is. It was actually a mother’s day gift from my children, but is sold online as an engagement ring.

flor5308: Thank you! I just got this polish actually. It is Topless and barefoot by Essie. I have been on a nail polish purchase binge as I hunt for the perfect wedding day color!

Huds: Thank you!
My nail polish is my standard go-to polish that I wear most days (lord knows I have a drawer of polish and only wear a few polishes regularly). It’s Sally Hansens miracle gel in Throwing Shade – it’s a great mauve shade for everyday wear. I love the stuff! No lamp needed and lasts at least a week for me if I use the Orly Bonder base coat!

bluehope: Thanks for the tips! I wasn’t involved in the making of my engagement ring – my Fiance and I discussed what kind of ring I wanted, then off he went to have it made without my knowing! So he picked out the diamond and setting based on my preferences 🙂 I didn’t know much about the 4 Cs but he did a great job! I agree, you definitely have to see the stone in person. My marquise is SI1 but it’s eye clean and has great sparkle, so I’m very happy with it!
