I DIY’d my table numbers, and did exactly what you said. I took wooden numbers, painted them silver, and put a glitter coat over top. They will sit up against my vases.

This is actually my wedding To Do for the day.  We’re going with the ever popular tolsby frames, spray painted black, glitter and mod podge, then mod podge nd glitter, then sealer.  The numbers I used glitter paper and my cricut machine.

My craft room is full of glitter…the glitter scratches the front of the frames when I slide them in otherwise I’m pretty happy.  3 more to go and I want to make a Mr and Mrs for the sweetheart table.

ETA: I retook the pic with a real camera 🙂

@MrsBeck:  Tolsby frames are from ikea and they’re like a dollar.  They’re very popular on WB.  If you search through the DIY section lots of ladies decorate tolsby frames for table numbers.

They’re open on both sides so it makes a good option for table numbers, or one side with the number and the other with a thank you or something.

I’m gonna change that pic…it sucks!

Just printed out the numbers on paper and put them in painted $1 wooden frames in different shades of gold/champagne, pink, and purple. Easiest thing ever, haha.

These are mine, they’re going to be printed and glued together with the balloon string in between. If I was framing instead I’d of probably used a simple black frame and just did the slight fade at the edges of the image and forgone the large black border.

It took me about an hour because I had to modify the image I found since the flowers were pink.

The printing and gluing will probably take 30 minutes and I have 25 tables. The company will attach it to the balloons for me, I’m just gluing 1 side together 🙂

i dont have a picture, but we bought a bunch of little easel’s with canvases on them. I’m painting the canvases with black chalkboard paint and then we are writing the numbers on them.

Will cost maybe $2 for each?

@MrsBeck:  They do stand very well against the vase, no problem. I didn’t have to seal the glitter. It is actually a martha stewart glitter paint, not actual glitter.

Not my picture (we are doing flowers not a candle) but just a wine bottle spray painted with chalk board paint!

I just finished mine on Friday!

We used gold Dollar Store frames and I designed and printed out the numbers. It cost $22 total:
