I’m a sucker for princess cuts and I love the details on the verragio rings so… This.

Cliche, but currently my dream ring is my current ring.  Realistically, I should probably be better off with a bezel, but my Boyfriend or Best Friend said to try it out for 6 months (after he proposes) and we’ll get it fixed before the wedding depending if the setting doesn’t match my lifestyle.

I actually have my dream ring too ๐Ÿ˜‰ I picked out the stone and every detail of the setting so I was able to get all the design elements I wanted. But…if I had the budget, I would have gotten an antique. Something like this – emerald cut, delicate band and a few simple details that make it unique

This is my dream setting, I just found it a few weeks ago and fell in love. Its not really unique or anything but i love how dainty the split twisted shank is. Most of the rings I’ve seen like this have a much wider space in between the twists. I’m thinking about seeing if david klass would be able to make this shank for my exsisting halo. However this isn’t something I’m in a hurry to do but I will look in to it eventually If it’s even possible. I’m really not interested in having an entire setting remade at the moment.

I have 2 dream rings (I’m greedy!)

The first one:

Otherwise know as Princess Di’s ring. (Currently Kate Middleton’s ring).

My more realistic dream ring is a sapphire art deco beauty:

I shall buy that one day. Once I find it again. Sigh.

Leonidas:  Oh my god I love love love paraiba tourmalines my second engagement ring was very similar to your dream ring withouth the piprice tag, I lost the stone unfortunately I lost the paer paraiba stone and my first ring I lost because I lost weight. I have an oval paraiba now which is stunningtons I am trying to get set. I also have a round paraiba too but the colour is not as intense, I would prefer white gold but the ring was vintage. so here is a picture of my ring and 2 stones x

I was able to get my dream ring, I had mine custom made to my design and I couldn’t be happier with it! The pictures never do it justice! And the best part was it was under budget, final cost was $4800 (don’t pay attention to my chubby fingers, it was hot that day so they were a little puffy)

I’m in love with the vintage “target” rings.
