I had surgery when I was a kid on both arms. So, I have scars on the backs of each arm(one arm is barely visable, the other can easily be seen) They basically run from my elbow all the way up.
So, I am not going to be comfortable wearing sleeveless. And I would love to see everyone’s dresses with sleeves.
Thanks!

@Cyclebride: AH, great minds think alike! I was just about to post a thread about my extremem dress regret. I want to see dresses with sleeves as well! Thank you ๐

@Cyclebride: I don’t have any pictures, but I just wanted to say, almost any dress you can add a lace elbow length bolero to, so when you’re shopping don’t think you are limited to dresses with sleeves already attached!

@Justbrynne: I did this! I had a bolero made for my strapless dress to wear during the ceremony. I don’t have pro pics back yet but here are some guest photos.

@Justbrynne: That’s exactly what I was going to say too! ๐
This is a very pretty example (I don’t know the designer or the name of the dress, it just popped up on Google search and I loved it)

@Kelly_mac: Your bolero is perfect! Did you have it made custom or is it from a shop?

My dress doesn’t have sleeves, but I’m thinking of wearing an off the shoulder lace jacket for the ceremony. Not for modesty or anything, I just think it’s really pretty! My dress has some lace at the bottom that would match.

@CeeBeeUK: I had it custom made by my incredible seamstress! And I bought the fabric off etsy!
