Yes, I’m planning on getting the train cut off of mine, it just looked weird and since we are getting married outside I didn’t want to deal with it.

I can’t find a picture right now, let me see….

It is a bad picture but depending if I like the dress I won this will either be my whole wedding dress or a reception.

Mine has a removable train which is what sold me on it. I get the best of both worlds! The middle pic shows the back with the train off and the pic on the right shows it with it attached.

Mine isn’t altered yet but theplan is to get it bustled and keep it that way.

@sienna76:  Do you know if that is a JCrew dress the bride in the bottom photo you posted is wearing?

@sienna76:  You sure do! It’s almost exactly the same! I actually think the one that the mom made looks a little better! (or maybe it’s the way the bride is built vs the model pic)

I wanted to get the train chopped off my dress but since I went to DB for my alterations and they can’t change the dress that drastically I had to bustle. I am getting married outside and didn’t want one. The alterations lady just about had a heart attack when I asked.

Not exactly what you asked for but I kept mine bustled the whole time. I was going to get the train cut off but I was too afraid I might change my mind. I had my sister bustle it as soon as I put it on and never let it out for the ceremony like I meant to. Anyway, here it is:
