Here is a picture of my runner-up gown that was a drop waist ballgown:

And here is my actual dress. A natural waist full a-line (technically its a-line but can be made into a ballgown with a crinoline)

I felt that the drop waist made my upper body look too long and my lower body too short (I was on a step in the first picture so its hard to see what I mean)

This is my first fitting, so the top is pinned because I’m modifying the neckline to a sweet heart and it needs to be taken in a bit up top. Next week, that all will be done and I’ll get the slight hem and bustle done.

I dont have a picture of me in it since it is being modified.  It is the first dress (made with a dropped waist and without the sash) and the sleeves/neckline of the second dress added.  I am soo excited.  Definitely my dream dress.

This is one of the dresses I’m considering (Sample is to small so ignore the side boob! HAHA) I’m a ballgown girl too – will never ever choose a fitted dress! YAY For us girly girls! x
