i have a big gap…! I can actually slide the wedding band under the e ring…. But I actually like it best like this!
Tried so hard to find something that would sit flush with my ering AND look good enough to wear solo. No luck. I was told I should “rock the gap.” So here it is!
I have a gap because my ering has a lower profile..it bothers me a little bit sometimes. My eternity band rubs my other fingers and can be very uncomfortable also its starting to scratch my ering band so I will be having a plain rose gold band that’s curved made very soon.
So my ring is from 1915-1925 or so, and insanely hard to figure out what kind of band to get. I’ve been scouring these message boards trying to find something, and these threads have helped a ton.
Here is what I’m thinking…
This is the band I wear on my other hand, not the actual wedding band. I was thinking something this size (I think it’s 2 mm?), but with diamonds. And vintage, obviously, haha.
What do you guys think?
My band is curved, but still has a gap.
I’m glad I’m not the only one who worires about this. I’d never really thought about a band to go with my ring before, and had a near meltdown in the jewelry store last nigth when I realized that the only way to get a ring without a gap is to custom order, which is really out of our budget right now 🙁 Guess I’m going to have to learn to love it!
I will also have a (big) gap. Not sure if I will get used to it or not when I get married but I’m not going to change it now!
Please forgive the swollen hands it was super hot that day for Fourth of July …
