I didn’t plan our outfits because he had a photographer shoot the proposal send then take our e-pics immediately following as a surprise. We had on jeans and our motorcycle gear. I would definitely recommend being comfortable and in your normal style!

@Barbiestylez:  Mine was done on one of the hottest days of summer, so my outfit is no help. But I think an outfit like these would be really cute!

@Barbiestylez:  What I learned from my engagement shoot:

Wear solid colors, wear colors you love like light pink, coral, turquoise, deep blue, fushia, salmon or whatever it may be.  If you are blonde light blue’s and pinks willl look really good on you.  You will like that you wore colors that not only look good on you, but that you love.

Wear accesories, like a scarf, nice bracelet you like and a cute necklace with another outfit, in case there are close ups of your face.  Change up your lipstick whether just gloss in one pic and maroon or deep pink with another outfit.

I did 3 outfit changes and my fiance just switched his shirt 3 times.

Spend an hour on your hair & makeup combined, so it is teased, fluffed and looks amazing..You will be glad, a lot of girls are like i wish my hair didn’t look flat, frizzy etc and i wish I did my makeup heavier.  You want to look natural and not like a clown but keep in mind professional photographers camera’s make you look like you have no makeup on when you have a regular light/daytime amount of makeup. & make sure to take care of your skin weeks before the shoot.  🙂 Hope this helps

Oh and show your man how to naturally pose with you before the shoot like in the mirror, so you don’t have that awkward pic where your man didn’t know what to do with his hands…LOL….you know what Im talking about:)

We took our pictures in Iowa in December and it was COLD! Darling Husband wore a thermal and a sweater and I wore a longer dress, a dressy top, and a long sleeve button up. Here are a few pics!

We were so cold at our shoot! Oregon in December. I was wearing a really cute outfit underneath my coat, but ended up keeping all my layers on for the whole shoot. I actually really love how they turned out. I recommend wearing a pop of red. My photographer was so happy about my hat because she said a little bit of red can really make a photo! Have fun!!

I wear a mint cardigan with a navy based scarf and he wore a navy checkered shirt.

It was the perfect way to match each other without being too matchy.

I’m seriously jealous of all these pics! Ours are ok, but we’re going to try for round two because they just weren’t as good as we had hoped. It was SUPER windy and sooooo cold that we were struggling to look natural and my hair was a disaster.

It was FREEZING when we did ours last march. I wore my canada goose jacket and just took it off between shots. lol. My Darling Husband froze his ass. Some of the pictures we look cold (our facial expressions) So I suggest not doing what we did and dress warmer.

We did two different outfits – dressy/casual and one more dressy. Had a ton of fun and both outfits gave the pictures their own “vibe” 🙂

Here are our outfits (: These were taken in November and I just put my jacket on between shots. At one point it warmed up enough to take off my jacket completely!

@Barbiestylez:  We did ours in late October and even though it LOOKS like a mild fall day, it was SOOOO cold out!   I stubbornly wore the DVF dress I had planned on, and even though I really love our pictures, some of them aren’t the greatest because you can tell we’re cold and uncomfortable.  If you are going to wear something thin, maybe add a silk underlayer (like these at LL Bean: http://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/887).   Good luck ~ I’m sure you’ll look beautiful whatever you wear!

@blushbliss:  I love your blouse in picture 2 – any idea where you got it? 🙂
