Your ring is really pretty, and I think it is awesome how you used family jewels to create it!

I don’t have a huge gap, but I do have a little one. Well, as of next year when I get to wear it full time, that is!

I’m wearing a rose gold spacer in between them…

zeus:  I love your set so much. It looks perfect together, and I love love the design of your band.

Yipeebee:  Is that your new wedding band? It looks so great with your sapphire ring! They look like they were made for each other. Beautiful!

My anniversary set has the eeniest, teeniest of gaps. It’s so miniscule that I don’t think it even really counts as a “gap” … but it’s enough to show clearly that my rings are two seperate things. (ha, ha — rhyme. )

My LBT solitaire has a bit of a gap from the top because of the basket and also because the band tapers down from 2.5mm to 2mm near the stone. It’s not a huge gap at all, although it looks bigger in person than it does in pictures. I always thought I would want a solitaire with no gap at all. But, suprisingly, the gap doesn’t bother me. I got used to it quickly, and actually quite like it now.

I was playing around with a little stack yesterday (inspired by another Bee’s gorgeous stack), and this version has a bit more gap to it because the center band is super thin.

Oh I am so glad you posted this! I am going to have a gap as well, and I can’t figure out how I feel about it or if I should get a custom band made to make it sit flush.

So hubby just bought me this vintage ring and it turns out it has quite a gap with my wedding band. Not sure what I think about it yet! Sorry for the huge sideways pic

My rings have been on the Board before but I do have a little more unusual and wider type of gap …

majorairhead:  The bands on your pinky are amazing! I love the texture. Your pink stone, is it a sapphire? It looks like something a movie star would wear.

Ukulele4You:  Aww thank you! The pink stone is actually a salmon morganite surrounded by white zircon! I won it on eBay for a surprisingly low price – under $90! Also  I collect vintage gold bands with hand tooling /etching in them. I just think that added touch of truly handcrafted make some very special and unique. Unfortunately most of them are also made for people with very tiny hands ( Victorian women must have been smaller or daintier than our generation lol ) so a lot of them are so small they only fit on my pinky finger!

kaeleypark:  I have a mini gap which I like; it doesn’t bother me at all.  I too, wanted the option to wear my wedding band alone.  Which turns out that I do; especially when I go to the gym.1new pic
