@Supersleuth:  I love this! Classic and beautiful. The size of the diamond is perfect on your hand, and the proportions are excellent.

@futuremrsschmitt: aww thank you! And I was the same, haha, we chose a day 18 months in advance of our day and I was out dress shopping 6 weeks after we got engaged. I feel so much better having things planned – it’s comforting to know things are sorted out, so I get you!

My wedding band journey started with a 1.5 carat 7 stone that I loveeeeee, but didn’t end up loving as a wedding band. It took buying it and seeing the engagement ring and band together for me to realize as much as I love the blingy 7 stone, I just didn’t love it as the symbol for our marriage. *Perhaps why so many other bees suggest going to jewelry stores and trying different things on first?*πŸ˜…πŸ˜… ultimately after I got thinking about it I just realized that nothing says “Married” like a plain gold band, so that’s what I chose. We kept the 7 stone for different occasions and I’m fortunate to have it, but am so much more pleased with the plain gold band.
Another thing to consider is the dreaded gap. I always thought I’d be one to want everything to sit nice and flush, especially because my fingers are so short and I don’t have a lot of room to work with as isπŸ˜‚. But turned out I didn’t love that either. I really ended up loving the gap and having my wedding band be able to stand out on its own, vs melding together with my engagement ring!

@porterbee:  I agree about the dreaded gap.  I ended up buying a Tiffany band to close the gap and absolutely hated it.  Your set is beautiful
