Hi Bee! Is your shared prong round 2 mm? So pretty all of them!

Looks like your grandma and mine would have got on like a house on fire. My grandad used to tease her that she must have had difficulty raising her arms to hail a taxi because of all the weight on her hands. It was his fault though, as he indulged her magnificently.

I love that idea. My daughter is turning 16 in August and can’t afford to throw a big party so I was thinking of other ideas.

oh yeah! I didn’t have or want a big party, but sweet sixteens aren’t a thing in my country. Honestly I love this ring! It’s so simple but it was a really nice gift, not too expensive, and I’ll keep it forever – not just like a one-day celebration 🙂

My Nanny wouldn’t even leave the house without earrings on and lipstick. She probably had 100 different shades and 2x the number of earrings. When she was headed out the door for the ambulance because she had a collapsed lung, she was worried about not having both! 😆 My grandpa indulged her every whim too. She’d come home with a new bauble and he wouldn’t bat an eye. ❤️

I just want to dig into that box and start playing sooooo bad.

Awwww, thanks! She left me with quite a collection. And those are just the ones I’ve kept! I wore the one on the far left with the pearl in the center yesterday and got multiple compliments.

I either wear my pear morganite as a RHR or my great-grandmother’s diamond ring!

I don’t really wear jewelry as a fashion piece. My rings always have meaning to them and I never take them off. My Grad ring from my undergrad degree and my promise ring from the first Christmas we were together at 18 years old – over 6 years ago.

Mine is a vinage Art Deco e-ring from the 1920’s, but I wear it as a RHR (I have another Art Deco vintage ring with a larger center diamond solitaire as my actual e-ring)

I wear my late great grandmothers opal! It’s 14k white gold. A jeweler estimated it was at least 60 years old. It feels like I have a little piece of her everyday.
