Im thinking of doing a fake flower bouquet for my destination wedding so I can plan in advance, I’m worried about how it will look.
Show me yours! Were you happy with your decision? Did you put it together yourself?

@habibti: here’s mine! They came already assembled and I got mine and 6 more for my bridesmaids, all for under $150. Check out http://thebridesbouquet.com

@habibti: I didn’t have fake flowers but a tonne of our blogger bees DIY’d them or bought them. Did you see Mrs Blue Whales?
Or Mrs Grey Wolf? I love the design of these they turned out so well~
The list goes on and on and on! I hope that can help inspire you and give you a tutorial or two!

@habibti: here’s mine! I put it together myself. It has a pearl handle which you can’t see in the picture. I love that I could keep it after the wedding too.

@habibti: afloral.com has some decent options on orchids you can start with. http://www.afloral.com/Wedding-Bouquets

Mine are being done for me by a friend of my mother’s who arranges silk flowers on the side (so somewhat professionally, she does sell them and I’m purchasing them from her). Here is my bouquet:
Here is mine with my bridesmaids’ bouquets:
And here is everything including the corsages for our mothers and bouts for the guys and dads:
Total this is costing me $385 – for all the flowers plus her time.

My mom made mine! she also did all of the boutineers!
We went to a craft store with a few images of bouquets i really liked and picked from there. Most stores have some awesome selections of “real” looking flowers!

@Sassygrn: I have a question about the flowers from thebridesbouquet.com. I was thinking of getting mine there. How fake do the look/feel in person? Its so hard to tell from photos

@lollygagon: The look pretty real in person and well they do feel fake but most fake flowers feel fake?

@lollygagon: I agree with PP, they look real in person and in photos but I don’t think there’s any way around having them feel fake.
