gift card holders?  The little sleeves you put over gift cards when you give them out?

Or card box?  The box you put cards in at the reception?

I’ll assume you’re talking about a card box and post mine. If you actually meant “gift card holder” then just ignore it. 🙂

We had a fall themed wedding so our hollow craft pumpkin with a slit cut into the top worked perfectly…

It depends on the theme of your wedding but there are a lot of creative card boxes. I would do a search on ETSy for some good inspiration.

For my beach themed wedding we are gong to be doing a treasure chest card box or a lobster trap card box…

keepsake card box

I really like the idea of using a suitcase for a non-beach themed wedding

And I think I saw a tutorial somewhere on this site before where someone bought four picture frames and some cardboard and assembled a cube with a slit on top to put the cards in. It was really cute and very personable. You could put some Engagment pictures in the frames!

@UpstateCait:  Wow, that’s genius! That might just be the best card “box” I’ve ever seen 🙂

This is next on my to-do list and I haven’t found anything I love.  I’m leaning toward a treasure chest, but they are SO expensive.  I’d love to see more ideas!

@MrsLulu:  They are really expensive! That is why I feel lucky to have my Dad make one for me.

@MrsLulu:  Haha MAYBE. We are most likely going to keep it for storage and sentimental value. But maybe we can loan it out??

@beachchicbride:  Haha, you are too sweet!  That is a special keepsake you should keep for yourself.  I’m sure I’ll find one.  I’m going to make it my garage sale misson for the next few weekends!

@Vera Girl: Thanks! At the end of the night, we tore that sucker open (it was made of some hard foam kind of material). It was in pieces on our sutie floor! lol

I am attempting to make my own card box.  I already purchased the fabric and ribbon and crystals and the paper mache round hat boxes, although i am so scared to start it.  Not sure how great the fabric is going to lay on the card box.  I have seen some where the fabric was all bubbly and puckering and just looked awful.. Crossing my fingers that i will have better luck
