My husband and I were an alien and a rocket shop…he was supposed to be a UFO to make a bit more sense, but he didn’t want to be round, he wanted to be tall – and he was! His costume was like 7 and a half feet tall and wide with wings and bright lights, he was clearing a path all night. He won the costume contest as well and won $75 worth of shots at the bar, probably why I’m feeling so horrible today!

Our friend was the solar system (not planned), so that worked out well for us too:

Alice and the mad hatter. Sorry about the boobs, wasn’t thrilled with it either, but I got the costume for free, so I just kind of worked with it.

Fiance and I went as Burt Macklin and Janet Snakehole (Parks & Recreation). It was pretty awesome because other people at the party dressed up as Leslie Knope, Ron Swanson, Ann Perkins, and Chris Traeger…totally unplanned. It was pretty epic.

My fi and I were skeletons one night and I was Edward Scissorhands another night.

I’m a makeup artist so Halloween is my favorite holiday 🙂

You can’t see the whole thing in this pic but i’m just in love with this picture.  My husband was hired to shoot a halloween party at an 1800s haunted mansion and we had to dress in victorian goth style

_blackbird_:  We were Leeloo and Korben Dallas from 5th Element! All homemade outfit stuff, ordered the wig from Amazon and had to cut it. Made the suspenders from an old soccer shirt about a half hour before this was taken LOL! We won the costume contest at our local bar and I was really proud of how it all came together! I hope everyone else had a great Halloween!

BeeinBoston:  It was a ton of fun wearing the wig n stuff! My shirt was rolled down for the rest of the night lol drinking = bloated and it was freeeezing out. Definitley do it next year! I got the leggings from Amazon along with the boots and wig. The white tee shirt was in my closet, my suspenders I cut from a shirt and same with the black belt – cut an old PJ shirt and did a quicky sew job. It was a crowd favorite! LOL first time I’ve ever been this creative on Halloween. I’m usually just a nerd or something easy!

Fiance was Owen  (Chris Pratt) from Jurrassic World. I was a raptor. It’s was so fun (albeit very hot–and hard to drink in that mask!)

We also ran into the “Margarita Guy,” definitely a highlight.

DrunkInLove:  As someone completely, 100% obsessed with all things Jurassic Park, I love this SO dang much.
