Mine is a moissanite so the cost is lower than your budget, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything else. The halo is a smaller one than some of the other ones I was considering. Left the final choice up to him and he chose this one over a Tiffany inspired double halo. I’m actually glad he did.

The top photo is my original e-ring…princess cut diamond in a cushion double halo. The bottom photo is of my recent re-set I had done. Same diamond in a cushion plan shank halo. The diamond is about 3/4 of a carat and my finger is a size 7.
After the issues I had with my first (from Kay’s) ring, I’d advise having something made by a local, trusted jeweler. Not at all saying that all mall jewelers or mall jeweler rings are crappy, but I had absolutely nothing but issues with the first ring.
