Beautiful! I love the vintagey feel!

Mine’s not one stone but several. Both of our mother’s have passed away so we used diamonds from their wedding in my ring. His moms are on the shoulder and my mom’s is hidden on the inside of the band.

I have a RHR that’s not really an heirloom but still sentimental. My grandfather raised me after my parents passed away and was the only living family I had left. He passed away the day after I got engaged, before I could get home and tell him. I had his ashes turned into a stone. It says “My Rock” on the inside of the band.

ksn1219:  love your Moissanite engagement ring and the sentimental diamonds in the setting. That setting is amazing!

Regarding the other ring, thought it was a morganite, wow, didn’t know it was possible to turn someones ashes into a stone!

My ring has heirloom diamonds. It was also made by the same family of jewelers who made my DH’s grandparents’ and his parents’ rings.

This was my paternal grandmother’s, then my mum’s. It is a cushion cut untreated sapphire flanked by two old cut diamonds in a platinum setting. I wear it every day on my right hand.

This is such a beautiful thread! My diamond was my fiance’s great-aunts diamond. I love it & the meaning behind it! Only 3 more months until I can wear the wedding band 🙂
