@MommaJenn28:  I love the color of your walls and the frames above your couch!!!  SO CUTE!  I actually have the top frame on the right (the one that holds 8 pictures) but it’s empty still.  I need to fill it up and put it on the wall, lol

@SuperDuperBrit:  Thank you ๐Ÿ™‚ I should take updated pictures. We actually have window treatments on the windows now…LOL…

It was definitely a work in progress with 20 windows. It got expensive, reallllly quick!

The front doors are different than in the picture.  The owners had the house for sale once before but it didn’t sell, they took it off the market did some updates including replacing the front doors and then put the house back up for sale.

The kitchen

My beloved pantry!  I always wanted a big pantry and now I get one!!!

More counter space Laughing

Dining room which is attached to the kitchen.  This bar is going to be moved to the basement for entertaining and a dining room table is going up here instead.

Blurry picture of the livingroom but to the left is my beloved bay window (another must have when we were house shopping).

My beloved fireplace in the livingroom.  I’ve wanted a fireplace for forever, so happy I get one!

Our master bedroom.  We’ll have more decor on the walls.  I hate bare walls.

Upstairs bathroom

Family room looking towards the 2 downstairs bedrooms (which I do not have a picture of).

Family room looking towards the stairs to the right is the laundry room.

Downstairs bathroom.

I do not have good pictures of the 2 other bedrooms upstairs so I’m not posting them.  Maybe once we actually move in and get them decorated.

I think I’ll go throw up now. ๐Ÿ˜›

All of your houses are amazing. DH and I would need to have like 800k stored away to afford most of these in our area. *sigh

Aw man, so many gorgeous, MASSIVE houses on here. Thinking we should move back to the states… our diddy little 2 bed flat in a purpose-built building (we’re talking 700 square feet) was around 500K USD (in pounds it’s worth about 315K). For our area, that’s cheap. ๐Ÿ™

Love this thread!!  We are in the middle of personalizing our new home in the West Town neighborhood of Chicago.  Pictures are of the staged home when we did the walk through.  I love looking at all the photos of real homes, rather than design magazines.  It really helps me think about what is functional in a space.
