I didn’t have a pic of  me in my dress, I had only posted the picture from the website. UPDATE!! I got my shoes and wanted to try them with the dress to make sure they weren’t too high. So I went to work early (yeah, I work at the bridal shop where I got my dress LOL) and put our sample gown on with the shoes (my gown will be pink, not ivory). 😉 Forgive the darkness….we weren’t open yet so the lights were only half on.

Then I had a coworker take these….not as good and I told her not to get my face LOL

Wowza!  Absolutely stunning!  Are the shoes on the bench the ones you’re going to wear?  They look pretty.

sassy411:  Thanks!! Yes, those are my shoes. The height is perfect! I got them online from Target for only $30! I love the subtle gold accent around the ankle. When I walk, you will only see the simple ivory sandal part…then if I raise the skirt…SPARKLE! LOL

Love that shoe!!!  I so wish I could pull off a higher heel – but my feet start hurting super fast in a higher heel.  I think I’ll look for something more like this one, which has a 2.5 inch heel.  I absolutely love ankle straps though – and I feel they tend to stabilize you better when walking.

You look great in your dress!!!

fourtylove:  Thanks!! Working in a bridal shop, I wear heels ALL the time. However, there is a very large difference between walking non-stop in heels and standing still during a ceremony and pictures LOL I agree on the ankle strap…that was a must for me. It helps to hold your foot back in the shoe so there isn’t quite as much pressure on the ball of your foot. The shoes you posted are really cool! Love the all-over sparkle!

melissa809:  Thanks! I love the beadwork on yours. Is it as low-cut as it looks?

By The Way, my actual dress came in last week! Here it is in all its pink glory LOL

xstitchgal75:  It’s a halter with the exposed keyhole in the front..but with, I guess, tulle over it?  The back is an illusion back.

Your dress looks very similar to another kittychen dress that i was also eyeing up!  But halter tops are the most flattering on my body type.
