I am 38 I will probably be 40 by the time I am married lol. These are my contenders. Now I have bought two of these and one I will probably dye and use for my 40th and the other will be for my reception dress. I have one more I am buying for the ceremoney got the three dresses for amazing prices so I could not help myself, self confessed bargain hunter lol.  The last dress I bought I don’t have yet so I can’t put a pic up. but it is the Monique L’heuiller bellflower dress. Don’t mind my face in the last pic no make-up and was sick lol. Age is only a number I say go for it dream big even on a budget lol

fourtylove:  Ah Thanks I actually have no 3 lol ……… That is the one I was going to wear to the reception but I am going to try dye it for my 40th its a pronovias pelicano normally retails for  about $1800 but I only paid under $200, I got it as a sample in immaculate condition it has the fab detailing going down the back. I did love the satin one and I loved a lot of satin dresses but I was thinking I could wear a dress like that maybe short for a different occasion I wanted to go a bit more dramatic and the wow factor lol and I got the bottom enzoani dress for an amazing price too. The satin one was about $2500 without the belt or having the straps added. I do love the shape on it though and how it photographs, thanks

yupmarried:  It is heavy at the moment but I am only 5 foot and it has to be taken in 2-3 sizes and up a foot so I say it will be a lot lighter when it is done and I might take a bit of tulle out I  wish I had ofblanked the face out I WAS SO SICK there but my friend wanted me to try them on lol.

I’ll be 53 when I get married and this is my dress. 2nd marriage. I’m thinking of cutting down the train.

denise52:  congrats! Great dress. Why cut the train? If you like it, don’t listen to anyone else. It’s YOUR day. Rock it, girl!

We mature brides have all the best of everything. Old enough to be our own, bold selves, young enough to still be flirty and fun. I can’t wait to go shopping for my dress.
