im getting married on Sunday, at a venue with only the car park as outside space, and am starting (a bit late!) to panic about photo opportunities. I don’t know the area, neither does the photographer, so travelling to a park for photos isn’t going to be an option.
Is it possible to get good pics indoors? There are chandeliers/ nice ceilings but no lower level detailing other than our own decor- which will be rearranged to change the room from ceremony to reception venue whilst photos are taken…
please share any pics. I just really want a decent photo of us, and one of us with our children.

Is it possible to get nice photos? Of course. Will there be a huge variety? Probably not. It’s just something you’re going to have to understand now, and be ok with. Indoor photos generally require a bit more in terms of lighting and so indoor photos tend to be a bit more on the formal/posed side. The major thing that give you variety in your wedding photos is being able to utilize different locations/backgrounds so obvoiously inside that’s going to be more limited.
Personally I’d do some more research before you 100% commit to not having any outdoor photos. WHere are you getting married? Have you asked the venue for suggestions on local parks or green spaces? Is there a B&B or Inn nearby? You can definitely get creative without having to be in a park.
