Here were mine.  They were mini keychain flashlights from the dollar store wrapped in this pretty paper (white paper with flowers in the paper) with a message printed inside and little flowers glued to the outside.  I wasn’t sold on the idea at first but there were none leftover after the wedding so I guess they were a hit.

Inside they said “Thank you for helping light the way to a bright and happy future!” Love, Me and Hubs

The favors are the white squares on top of the napkins.

I had made bubble magnets in tins for our favours.  There were 2 types: 1 set for the women as they had pics of our life as a couple and 1 set for the men with aviation theme pics as my hubby is a pilot.  I stuck a thank you tag to the clear window and then tied the name placecard to the favour.  They were super easy to make, very cheap and people loved them.  It was fun to be able to personalize them with the photos.

So far, it’s custom dice and salt water taffy. Around $30 for the dice and $10 for the taffy. Sitting right at $1.75 for each person so far counting the pretty boxes.

I made these fans as part of our favors (the other part was flip flops). Bought all of the supplies from Michael’s for approx. $17 for fifty fans.

We did playing cards for our favors, with a personalized label with our wedding colors, names and cute little phrase. They were about 70 cents a deck.

We have breakaway centerpieces that  are doing double-duty as favors. We got little live ivy plants in foil-wrapped pots from a local greenhouse (just a few dollars each). We are setting them out on the tables with a little sign that says “Ivy is a symbol of fidelity, wedded love, and friendship. It is also a beautiful houseplant. The ivies decorating your table are living potted plants. At the end of this evening’s festivities, we invite you to take them home as a “thank you” for celebrating with us!”

We had two favors. The chocolate favors were cheap. We put them in cloth bags with personalized stamps.

@kjr1986 that is an awesome favor! My FIs favorite snack is trailmix! Wish I would have thought of this before!!

We made homemade salsa for our wedding next summer. Had to can it now while tomatoes are in season! Now they are just sitting around waiting for next June πŸ™‚ They ran around 1.75 per person (each person gets a 4ounce jar)
