2.27 carat G VS2 from Clean Origin with triple X stats (IGI) and a HCA of 2.3. Recently appraised by GIA accredited jeweler as F VVS2, super ideal cut. Remember that grading is somewhat subjective.

Do your research and if you’re getting a round brilliant, put the stats for your stones into the HCA tool on Pricescope. It took us considering 7-8ish duds (as far as optics and light return) before we found our forever stone.

Size 9.5 finger. My baby is currently at a local jeweler getting a new setting. The platinum knife-edge setting from Clean Origin was not great. We returned just the setting. I can’t wait to get my ring back!!! Jeweler said 4 weeks, and that was Apr 3rd. 2 1/2 more weeks 🙁

Sorry for the huge pic. I can’t resize it.

abcxyzbee :  Thank you, it is! 🙂 I like the setting a lot. Delicate but sturdy. It is super low set though – the basket is against the finger so my wedding band will have a gap. Just something to think about

abcxyzbee :  thank you! I haven’t tried on wedding bands yet, but have stacked my plain rg ones with it and they sit flush! It’s a cathedral setting, so the basket sits above the band nicely.

kayboom15 :  Thank you! I can’t wait to post the new setting when it’s done!

FYI, our search took a couple weeks and we looked at every single lab grown diamond outlet on the internet. Clean Origin was by far the least expensive. It also had the largest number of optical duds, so buyer beware. If the diamond is GCAL graded, the paperwork will come with an ASET (value of light performance). Ours was IGI, so no ASET. If IGI, the HCA tool is your friend, even if you have to spend a little $ to do ore than 3 assessments. I know your forever stone is out there!!

Soon2BMrsFredericks :

I got the Lightbox diamond today. I also picked up my ER from the jeweler, I had the band resized & she cleaned it. The ring is set with C&C near colorless 6.5 mm H&A moissanite, the pendant is the Lightbox white round 7/8 carat with 1/6 blue carat diamond above it. I intended to replace my center moissy with the lab diamond, and it’s pretty, but idk… it’s not bowling me over.

Pics taken on a sunny afternoon, in my car. Side by side, sorry these aren’t glamour shots.. the diamond & moissanite behaves the same in sunlight, to my eyes, anyway. Cut & clarity of LB diamond could be better IMO.

I have a .47 lab created oval from brilliant earth and I love it! It’s super sparkly and the price was way better in comparison to the non lab diamonds of similar size!

I have a 1.11 carat I color, ‘super ideal cut’ GCAL certifies round brilliant from Brilliant Earth. The HCA score was 1.2 (excellent across the board). The Aset was pretty good. It sparkles like mad and has lovely fire in the sun. BE customer service was pretty decent too. I personally prefer GCAL certificates over IGI.

I forgot to say that it’s currently at the jewelers being set. Also, given the specs, if I went with a mined version, I would have ended paying 1.5 to 1.6 times the cost of this stone.

We decided on a 1.25 ct lab created diamond from Clean Origin! I color, VS1 clarity, excellent cut. I’m a ring size 9 for reference!

You all have beautiful diamonds! I wan’t to have  lab diamond custom cut. But the vwndoe told mw there is a very apparent brown ringe in lab diamonds from H and lower. Do you notice that in your H and I or J colored stones? Do they face up white most of the time?

Thank you very much for your help!

Marlene2 :  I do not notice any brown color at all and it faces up perfectly white to me and mine is an H.
