FutureDrAtkins :  I don’t have anything to share sorry! Im so happy you have decided to swap out your moissy, not that it’s not absolutely stunning because it is, but all the troubles you have had with it would drive me crazy! I have a Moissanite that was set into a ring C and C brand and I never knock on wood had the stain but I can imagine the frustration of it constantly reoccurring! From what I’ve seen and heard, I haven’t ever sourced one, I think they are identical to natural mined diamonds just obviously lol grown in a lab. I think it’s awesome a diamond can be grown in a lab and I pray the prices come down as I would love to offer them and get one for myself lol πŸ˜‚. What size are you going for, cut, colour etc?

I have a lab diamond! It’s waiting to be set but so far I love it!! It looks exactly like a diamond- because it is one! I have zero regrets picking lab over earth mined. I made sure to get it from a company that does upgrades as well so if I want to upgrade in the future I have options!

(It looks all buttery in the first photo because of the tan walls/surroundings, it’s not some weird lab diamond trait lol)

My mom has one, it is Pure Grown.  I can’t see anything off with it at all.  It is super sparkly and crisp and the cut.  She got an ideal cut.

I have a lab grown diamond from Brilliant Earth! I absolutely love it! I’ve had it since July and have had no problems with it. Its very sparkly and doesn’t not look any different from other diamonds at all. I’m very happy with the choice we made to buy ethically sourced diamonds and they are just a tiny bit cheaper than mined diamonds so that doesn’t hurt either. If you have any questions let me know!

Sorry for big pictures!

FutureDrAtkins :  aww that’s terrible your starting to resent your ring! It’s beautiful! Either cushion or round would be beautiful! I think a cushion would still keep that vintage look you have but I think a round would look just as beautiful! I’m so happy your keeping the setting the same! It’s one of my favourites! Is there any chance you could also contact C and C and get them to replace your stone? They have a warranty etc and you have had so many troubles with it that I’m sure your jeweller could back you up in getting the manufacturer to replace it, that way you could maybe set it into a pendant or right hand ring? Just a thought lol πŸ˜‚ Keep us posted when you change it. And all the best with your move. πŸ˜‰

I have a 1.26 carat lab diamond from Brilliant Earth. I’ve had it for almost two years and I have no complaints. Very good experience with the company as well. We also purchased our wedding bands from them! I wasn’t looking for a lab diamond specifically (back when we were shopping), but I came across this stone and it matched all the specs I was looking for, so we went for it! It didn’t hurt that we also saved a couple thousand dollars.

FutureDrAtkins :  Pure Grown doesn’t do antique cuts or even cutsom cuts.  I asked for me lol.  It would be so cool though if they would.

FutureDrAtkins :  sorry to hear about the issues you’ve had with your moissy, I absolutely love your ring!! I, too, switched over to a diamond.  I wonder if the new OEC’s from moissaniteco have the same issue?

Me me! I’m currently waiting for my lab grown to be set! I was expecting to get a Moissanite (for ethical reasons) when we started this upgrade process, but I just didn’t like the look in oval shapes, so we went with a lab grown diamond to still keep the ethical side πŸ™‚ I absolutely love it!
