I love seeing fellow marquise rings!! Here is mine 🙂 The stone was from my husband’s grandmother’s engagement ring. We had it re-set in a rose gold solitaire and I LOVE it! Sorry if the photos are large.

Here it is with my actual wedding band. I don’t always wear them together, the stones rub up against underneath the setting of my engagement ring… I’m thinking about soldering them together but haven’t decided yet….

tbenjamin4884 :  I think you’re current set is beautiful (and I LOVE the sentiment of it being your mom’s stone), but this marquise still makes me drool!!!  I’ve been hinting to my husband about upgrading the center stone on my original set to at least a 1 ct. marquise.  I’m not sure the ring would look right proportionally with anything bigger.  Then again, I might just save up and  buy a solitaire in a plain yellow gold setting to wear with my original band.

LoveMySillyBug :  No, although I think I did see the same set on Helzberg’s website many years ago.  Mine actually came from a local family owned jewelry store here in our hometown. My set was a complete surprise to me.  I’ve grown to love it for what is symbolizes, but it isn’t what I would’ve gravitated towards if I’d had a chance to pick out my own ring.  I’ll never get rid of this set, but I’ve probably spent WAY too much money buying alternate sets over the years.
