Mine has a very defined flare just above the knee & a sweetheart neckline with a semi-sheer ruffled detail over the bust. There is a tiny bit of sparkle in a very thin band around high waist but otherwise I figured no bling required.

The lady in the boutique put this horse hair trim cathedral veil on for me to try & I loved it! So simple and elegant.

I might put a little bling in my hair with a comb?

@redband:  Thank you very much 🙂 I love your gown too. It is Beautiful!!!! Mine is Trento by Pronovias. It used to have straps before, but the lady at the bridal store took them off. Do you have more pictures of your gown?

I think mine might be considered more fit and flare maybe?

@Irishb:  Thank you! That makes me smile from ear to ear 🙂 It was one of the more unusual dresses I tried on so I was a little worried for a while that it was too particular a taste.

The ONE thing I said I did NOT want (before trying) was a defined flare (straight line from fit to flare) but I loved it on.

Ur dress is beautiful! As are you! And your bouquet! All gorgeous! 🙂

@ParisM:

Im so happy that you girls like my dress. It was a little more unusual than I originally had in mind, I was a little worried others (especially Mr. j) might not like it as much as a traditional ball gown style.

It is a Rivini gown. The style name is ‘Balia’. It is actually from the 2010 line I believe although I purchased it early 2012 from Ivory Bridal Atelier in Houston.

justjade:  sorry I just noticed your comment! It is the ‘Phoebe’ veil by Sara Gabriel. I guess it’s not a drop veil technically as it does have a comb, but it is designed with very fine tulle to lay soft & when the blusher is down it does have an airy/delicate drop veil look.
