smalltownbigworld :  Me personally, I wouldn’t recommend those wrap dresses. Busty girls always have a problem and the fabric is very thin so everyone has to figure out pasties or something and then worry about it not showing through still. That’s before you even worry about wrapping it in a way to give you actual support. They’re cool for other events but it always ends up chaotic and the girls don’t practice with them before the weddings.

You can see my friends lines of whatever liner she put in and there was zero support.

tallahasseelassie :  Oh! My girls are in petal floor length chiffon, too! I originally gave them a couple color options, but 3 out of 4 liked petal, so they all got petal, haha. I did the same thing; mine are all spread out so we went with David’s for ease. Not married yet, so no pictures, but I loved to see yours! Makes me excited!!

ddnroosmomma :  good, I’m glad it gets you excited!!! It was great. Depending on whatyour girls look like I would recommend a light spray tan.. my girls wish they had and weren’t so washed out but it was also early April so everyone except for me was pale…lol!

They go to pick their own dress.  The only issue was when one wanted to be the only one wearing the certain style of dress they chose and was a little disappointed to “share” her dress.   Otherwise all was fine and it turned out nice. The shoes were all supposed to be ivory, but at the end there I just said “whatever”.

the best picture i have on my computer is this one…

I told the girls it HAD to be Navy blue and the dress could NOT be strapless. It just happened to work that two of the girls chose long dresses and two chose knee-length. I wanted for them to spend however much money they felt comfortable spending (one of the girls only spent $30!!) and comfortable in the dress.

Ok so I threw this together in paint and like 3 of the dresses are just similar to what they picked but I couldn’t find the exact ones because they found and bought there own so I don’t know where from. The one that is kind of taupe is actually a bit darker almost a bronze/brown color but it’s as close as I could come. And then our flowers / color scheme

We asked them to pick a knee-length dress in a shade of teal, no shiny satin, and black shoes. I think it worked out really nicely! Everyone felt comfortable in their dress and given the differences in bodies and geography it was definitely the most practical choice.

I let my gals pick out whatever dress they wanted, just had to be in a specific color by a designer, chiffon and long.

I let my sister pick first, since she was the maid of honor. I really wanted everyone in dark grey (charcoal), since I liked the idea of them with yellow flowers to make the yellow pop.

She picked a Mori Lee floor length fully beaded lace style, but that was very special and I wanted her also to stand out so I let the girls pick. Mori Lee has a LOT of options in full length- fully lace beaded (which I asked them not to pick to let my sister stand out), fully lace (not beaded), half beaded lace & half chiffon, half regular lace & half chiffon, and full length chiffon. 2 of my BMs picked full length chiffon, and one picked chiffon with lace on the back & shoulders but the rest chiffon.

Everything looked perfect. When the pictures come back, I’ll post them. 🙂

We did fully mismatched florals (except for my Maid/Matron of Honor who wore a solid) and shades of blue for the guys.

I loved how everyone looked and they all felt great!
