@gabrielleelise1981: Do you have a picture of your engagement ring and wedding band together on your hand? They are GORGEOUS and I must see how they look together!!

My wedding ring and engagement ring do not match but I love them together.  I have a 3 stone princess cut e ring and round prong set wedding band.  I liked that the round diamonds offset the princess stones on my e ring yet did not compete.

I cannot find a good image of them together but will add when I do.

Ahh, I posted these in another thread already but I wanted to put them here to all the ladies with mismatched bands. Loving my set and so excited about wearing them together.

Fiance and I picked out the e-ring together and later on I was a little mad at myself that I didn’t think about wedding band sets earlier bc I wanted something that matched to wear on the same finger… but I was too excited to be properly engaged and I’m really happy with my dainty e-ring. It took me awhile to find something I really loved. But I upped the bling for the wedding band… I love that while the stones are bigger, the whole wedding band sits lower than the e-ring still. It is solid like I want a wedding band, blingy, and it matches the 5 stones of my e-ring.

Engagement Ring is about .12 carats and the wedding band is like .6 I think. Both in white gold, as is the FI’s matching band in the last shot. More than enough bling for my finger… and none of it sticks out! Now if Oct will just come here quicker!! We also got the cutest engravings inside… our intials squared inside paratheses like a math equation because we have the same letters of our names. (KH)² Looove it. 🙂

I haven’t yet received my band or have even thought about it to much…but i love the mix and match idea. I usually where a tone of mix’n’match jewelry anyways, especially bangles so it might just work. Any Ideas for this ring:

I kept trying to find a band that would match my e-ring but never could find one.  I thought about only wearing the e-ring, but I got a couple “when did you get engaged?” comments and I didn’t like that people couldn’t tell I was married.  So I tried one more time… stopped by the jeweler to just try a few on.  I found the perfect fit!  I row of princess cut diamonds with milgrain that compliments my ring so well but at the same time it holds its own.  It is so perfect and I love the mismatched/complimentary look.  Beautiful rings, ladies!  I’m such a fan of the mismatched look.

Whoa!  Sorry the photo is so large and fuzzy, but at least you’ll get an idea!

I love my e-ring.  I love my wedding band. However, it doesn’t go together. I’ve decided to get a matching eternity ring and have 2 wedding bands!  Due to type of my work, I can’t wear my e-ring so, I will be wearing one, both or neither of my wedding bands (depends on my assignment for that day).  So, now I have three different rings to mix and match with. =)

Wow, I’m lovin’ all of this!  I love the idea of mixing rose gold with white gold, and also platinum with white gold.  I also love, love, love mixing engraved, pave, or eternity bands with solitaire or simply designed 3 stone e-rings.

My sweetie and I are going with matching (with each other) traditional Mohawk commitment bands (he is Mohawk).  We’re getting them made by a Mohawk silversmith.  The look as compared to my 1/2 karat 3 stone e-ring with a white gold band is completely different in a totally uncomplimentary way.  But, the Mohawk commitment bands are too meaningful not to do, so I’m going to wear my e-ring on my right hand.  *gasp*  I know.  Here’s what I’m learning about all this wedding/marriage business:  you gotta do what’s right for you.

I found an enhancer band to go with my e-ring. Mine wasn’t suppose to have a band and it sat low so it was hard to find something that would sit next to it and look cohesive. But i did find this beauty!

Both of mine are custom designs, but I designed the e-ring and the jeweller designed the wedding band, so they complement each other without actually matching.
