this was my first wedding set, once upon a time. i still wear my wedding band on my right hand. DH1 had the same band, only 5mm instead of 3mm.

My rings are mismatched in terms of band width… Though both are round diamonds and prong set, my wedding band is way thicker than my e-ring.

mandigrl04: Unfortunately, no… It’s a platinum e-ring my hubby purchased from a local jeweler… My ring has a couple of ring scratches or patina… I have been pretty rough with my ring and I wear it most of the time (I should have been more careful then).

I don’t have a pic of them together yet, but here is the e-ring:
And here’s the wedding band:
They look surprisingly good together!

I recently had my wedding band custom made. (Sorry about the picture, I took it quickly on my cell phone right after the ring arrived. For now it’s the only picture I have of them together.)
The band is exactly what I wanted, I feel like I tried on every style band that ever was when I was looking for a wedding band. I finally found a bezel set band and it’s the only stlye I loved alone and with my ering. Now that it’s made and I have it, I’m not 100% about the two rings together (even though I know I didn’t like any other combination of ring styles). I’m not sure what it is, maybe I’m not used to wearing 2 rings at once or I’m just afraid my amazing wedding band outshines my ering. Either way I’m hopeful I’ll get over it and recognize them as being beautiful together (since logically I know they are)!

Here are mine! Hubs designed the e-ring himself, so when it came time to get a wedding band, our jeweler suggested customizing one to match and sit flush with the e-ring. However, I knew I wanted to wear my wedding band by itself most of the time, so we just went with a completely different style. Took me awhile to get used to the gap between them, but now I love my “set”! As Stacy and Clinton say on “What Not to Wear” – “It doesn’t have to match, it just has to go.” 🙂
