@BellieBee:  My ring was1 size too big, even though I measured it several times, then I noticed that one of the prong arrived cracked. I notified moissyco as soon as I noticed this (my Fiance took a month or so to actually propose and I didn’t notice the crack until a few days after I got it, It was a hairline crack!) and they said to send it back and they’d resize it and fix the crack , well I live in Canada and found out it would cost a FORTUNE for me to ship the ring back because of insurance, not to mention the risk of it being “LOST” accross the border and moissyco wouldn’t do ANYTHING to help me out with the cost of shipping the ring to them for repair, even though it was really obvious that they sent me a defected ring. I should also note that my ring value was around 2k, and there are rules with fedex, purolater etc that you have to pay a but load of $$ to insure jewelry over 2k value. This is the kind of risk you agree to when you buy online I guess, but if you’re in the US then you should be fine. The whole experience with them put a real bad taste in my mouth, and I would not buy from them again. It felt like they were real eager to help when we were purchasing, then I found once I had a problem with the product after purchasing they were not so eager to fix it.

I should say that I LOVE the stone itself, it is not something that is easily captured on camera. It’s moody, and sparkly and forever changing. Moissy is amazing!

@BellieBee I just soak them in warm water and Dawn dish soap for a few minutes and then scrub them with an extra soft toothbrush. Works perfectly every time! Not that I need to clean them that often… the moissanites repel dust, dirt and oil REALLY well.

Hello all! I’m recently engaged and finally decided on the ring I want. Yes, it’s a little unconventional to get engaged without a ring, but my fiancé said he was worried he’d “screw up” and pick a ring I didn’t like.

Anyway, I stumbled across weddingbee and found this thread yesterday. . I had never heard of moissanite before, but I feel in love with it instantly. I’ve never been a diamond kind of girl for various reasons (the insane prices being one), but I do love sparkly stones. After browsing moissaniteco, I think I’ve decided on my e-ring!  Eng179a with a 6mm/1.3 ct moissy. Fiancé loves it and we’ll be ordering it soon! Thanks for all your gorgeous moissanite pictures, ladies =) I’ll post mine as soon as I get it.

I don’t understand how you all get such good pictures of your rings.  Mine are horrible.  But anyway, here it is.  It’s a 1 ct equivalent moissanite in a rose gold/palladium/sterling silver mokume gane setting.
