The stone itself was under $400, the band however was designer :/ so the whole thing was about $1800 which is a lot for Fiance and I as we just graduated college.

@Eckle:  Wow, I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a green sapphire before. Your ring is beautiful!

I have a 6mm Moissanite in white gold – it cost $450 including tax. We’ve been together a year now and she’s as sparkily as ever 🙂

I’m cheating, because the halo and bands are diamond….but the center stone is a sapphire!

@Sevyn:  Definitely! Like another poster, we were in college when we got engaged (and I have a debt phobia) so I really wasn’t comfortable financing anything. He got is from Moissaniteanddiamond.com, this is the listing for my ring (which has gone up in price since we got it), and they have a ton of great things. My husband got my some moissanite earrings from them for Christmas as well. We were a little nervous because we’d never heard of the company before, bt they both came with a certificate from C&C and are doing great.

I have an aquamarine right for now, being replaced with a moissanite soon.

I also got this moissanite pendant for Christmas! My baby knows me well.

That’s my baby. I’m cheating with the side diamonds, but that’s my beautiful natural sapphire. <3
