@kariebee43:  Thank you!! 🙂 I have to give a shout out to Michelle’s Patisserie in Ausin because they did an amazing job. (I just feel like an idiot because I forgot to bring the cake stand I had spent months looking for, so it didn’t have a stand. D’oh!)

Here is a pic of the technique called ribbon/ruffle icing. No fondant needed.
