Love my ring! Black gold, black diamonds and a white diamond center! The only thing I don’t like is when people grab at it cause they want to see it.

Love all your rings btw!

dawnadead :  do you find the black gold hard to maintain? My ring used to be black gold, but I recently stripped the black rhodium and am wearing the white gold because it was too much upkeep.

mine is more traditional than I would have preferred. I really wanted a Montana Sapphire as my center, but FH didn’t think it was weddingy enough.

I did insist on a kite set princess which while not unheard of, is pretty unusual. The pave woven band was not what we’d originally planned, but once i saw it I was in love.

sec4 : Yes! it’s does need to get replated every once in a while. I can’t wear the Ering while I’m working so I only where it when going out so I don’t have to send it in very often. I did decide on a white gold (Not plated) band to pair with it that I will be wearing daily that wont need the maintenance!

mrswaguespack :  sorry guys I’m new to this posting thing. I just wanted to give you a little bit of info it’s actually a turn of the century peace. And I’m absolutely sure I will never see another one like it. I’m madly in love. And it’s not your typical engagement ring

kittykatc :  I love both settings, the bezel is really gorgeous though and I looovvveee the yellow gold!

I have a super basic traditional ring, and one that’s a bit different. My black diamond solitaire in rose gold is a fun classic with a twist, and I love it. I felt insecure about it for a long time, black diamonds are my jam but not everyone else’s so I felt like I needed other options, but lately this is the only one I wear!

Mine is a mix of traditional and non-traditional. I have a London blue topaz in a 3 stone ring which is a rather traditional setting. I love the unique classic look!

kittykatc :  Not yet! I know that I want alternating diamonds and sapphires, I just don’t know how I want it to look yet – I love bezel eternity bands, and I also love flush-set bands, so that’s an option too! Also considering a prong-set band, but I love how my engagement ring doesn’t have any prongs and never catches on anything so that’s a concern.

What are you thinking of doing?

lovegrowshere :  Your ring is beautiful – that blue is striking! And the side stones have the perfect proportion to the main one, imo. It’s absolutely stunning!
