So we decided to do a outdoor park style wedding in the month of April in Texas (hope its not to hot). Here is the park and spot we pick. My wedding planner suggested we use columns for our decor. The guest list is super small only about 20 people. So we are having white chairs and maybe a aisle runner along with the columns. Show me your outdoor venue and maybe we can swap decor ideas!!!!

The top is our ceremony venue (bottom is reception). I plan on making a stand and putting some sheer grey curtains on it, tying them back, and then knotting strips of tulle behind that as our backdrop. Maybe something else. Leaving the chairs as they are, which sucks because they’re BRIGHT BLUE, but not much I can do about that. Might hang something across the back row. I’ll have a big ornate- framed chalkboard leaning against a tree that’s over on the right side of that picture with our program on it. That might be it.
I was actually told by our officiants that it’s better to not have an aisle runner because they’re easily forgotten, tripped over, wrinkled, etc. They had a couple whose ushers forgot to roll out the runner and had to do it right before the bride walked down, realized they had nothing to secure it with, and used duct tape. :
