Darling Husband and I have decided to replace my lost ring with an oval solitaire instead of a round (sorry I’ve been blowing up the ring board for 2 days…) so now I need to figure out what size to get.
I have a size 5.5 finger, and previously had a 1ct (6.5mm) round which I sometimes felt was a tad too large.
Please share your ovals with me and let me know how big they are and how big your fingers are!

Sorry, I don’t have an oval but I do love them. I was just curious if your previous ring was insured?

I have a .77 carat 6mm long oval halo and a 5.5 finger

one more bump now that I am home from work!
@NovaRising: my ring was not insured. Since we went with a moissanite, it never really occurred to us to insure it, which I guess was silly because my set all together was around 1500, so thats still a good amount.
@llamadrama: thank you for sharing! I am really considering going for ~.75ct this time around, so yours is very helpful!

My oval is 1.51 cts on size 8 ring finger. The first photo makes it looks much bigger than I think it is. I don’t know what the mm dimensions are but it’s slightly stout, imo.

My ring is 1.55ct and my ring is a 6. I love it and feel the size is perfect for me.

My brilliant cut oval is about 1.5 carats and my ring size is a 5. I just love it!

Here is my oval halo that is 1.2 carats centerstone on a 5.5 finger. The measurements is about 7.9×5.7, hope that helps!! 🙂

I posted on your other thread but here are the dimensions of mine. When we were deciding on a setting for this diamond there wasn’t much information on them out there so I hope this helps you.
My ring is sized at 5.25 to get over my knuckles but I’m really a 5. It is 2.05 carats 9.52mm x 6.76mm.
