Here’re my charms on a Pandora black leather bracelet:

I set up all my charms to remind me of Darling Husband in some way. I’ll go from left to right. You can’t see him well, but the charm on the very left is a panda – I absolutely love pandas! Darling Husband gave me a cute stuffed animal panda for my last birthday. Next to that is a coffee cup with foam art (not Pandora brand) – one of the first places we went to together was a local coffee shop that does that exact foam art on their lattes and cappuccinos. Next is a cupcake/muffin (also not Pandora brand) – we almost always order a muffin with our coffee, particularly if they have blueberry. Next is the dangling Kokeshi doll – I collect Japanese Kokeshi dolls, and my Darling Husband bought this charm for me as a pre-wedding gift. Lastly is the flower clip – when we first started dating, Darling Husband always had a bouquet of flower for me when he picked me up. Of course, that’s pretty expensive to keep up so now he only does it on special occasions, and every once in awhile just because.

I have the same bears charm. Actually Fiance was planning to propose around x’mas by gifting me a few charms and having the engagement ring inside one of the boxes instead of a charm, but we ended up swapping gifts early and his plan was foiled because he didn’t have the ring yet. The bears was one of those x’mas charms, and the other was a red enamel lantern to represent our recent vacation to see the Great Wall of China.

My pandora and all my charms were a gift from Fiance. The ladybug and cupcake represent our pet names for eachother. The palm trees are for our first vacation together. The house is from when we first moved in together. The white one has a raindeer on it and it was for our first christmas together. The last one has little hearts on it and was for our 1 year anniversary.

I thought he should have gotten me one for when he proposed, but im satisfied with my awesome engagement ring instead 🙂

ancientculturesdramaqueen:  I know, he first gave it to me after we had only been dating 4 months and said “I thought it would be cool to add on to it every time we do something new together”. I thought it was so cute and realized he was serious about me and saw a future with me. Come to think of it, that could have very well been the moment I knew he was ‘the one’ 🙂

Here’s mine! Fiance gifted it to me our first Christmas together. My cousin, aunt, and mom all had ones for years that I loved but never had my own! I was thrilled (and he had no idea how perfect a gift it was!)

The sister charm is actually 1/2 of a 2-piece charm. My Maid/Matron of Honor has the other. The rose is for the Rose Bowl football game we went to together when Michigan State (next charm!) played! The other two he got me for Valentines day after we moved in together. The other side of the bracelet is the blue/green charm that was the first one he bought. Fiance said it reminded him of the blue/green of my eyes! The sun/moon/stars one came from my cousin. The heart one is just because I loved it and he bought it for our anniversary. The airplane is for our first trip together, we spent time over that summer flying to visiting my parents in Michigan and his in California. Consequently the day after he bought me this charm our flights were canceled and we got stuck in Chicago an extra day 😛 So we always joke that he jinxed it!

ancientculturesdramaqueen:  MrsGAM:  MsBear:  How many of you bees plan to wear your bracelet on your wedding day?

I don’t think I will because I feel it isn’t dressy enough but I wear it every single day so it feels weird not to! It does look pretty when it’s all polished!

MsKnitter:  I have worn mine every day since the day I got it 4 years ago, but I won’t wear it on the wedding day as I plan to wear a double strand pearl bracelet instead.
