I did paper flowers! maps for my bouquet and my husband’s bout (because we love to travel) and book paper for the other bouquets/bouts (because I love to read) and a mix of all and origami paper and music scores in the centerpieces.

@secretbee33:  Thanks! I started with the book paper flowers, but I wanted some color for my bouquet and maps were the perfect solution!

@FrillSeeker:

@secretbee33:

thanks girls! they really weren’t that hard, actually. i was very anal retentive and wanted them to look absolutely perfect, but even doing that wasn’t hard. more waiting for glue to dry than anything. haha

Well, I’ve made a lot–

Oversized painted paper flowers (centerpieces):

Large & small kusudama topiaries for ceremony/reception decor (the large ones):

Small kusudama flower & crane centerpieces for cocktail hour tables:

Bouts:

Corsage pins for my family members:

Photo booth backdrop (made from sociology text books since Fiance & I are both sociology professors)

I have more, and am still making some.  My fingers are sore & I’ve gone through a lot of glue sticks!

@secretbee33:  Thank you!  I’m sure my students would love the fact that I tore apart a text book to make it.

Well, at least it is “us.”

@keembeen:  Did you make copies of all the love letters before cutting them up? Your flowers are awesome, but I don’t think I could stand parting with the letters:)
