SO is starting the ring shopping process and has asked for my input on ring styles. I think I want a simple solitaire with a pavé band, or possibly a halo with a pavé band. I haven’t tried on rings yet (a little nervous to do so, but I’ll get around to it), so I’m not sure what would look best. I would love to see pictures of rings with pavé bands on hands, and it would be awesome if you could also share the width of your band and your ring size.
Bonus points if your hands are similar to mine! I’m around 5 to 5.25 and have longer fingers. Even if your hands don’t match mine, I’d still love to see your ring!

@somethingaquamarine: my 1.5mm pave ring. I ordered a 1.5mm band to match.
Sorry for the weird sideways pic!

2mm pave ring. I wear size 4.

I have a pave ering– halo and band. I picked a larger diamond size wedding band
Ignore what people think you should get. I got a lot of comments from friends and family bout how pave will fall out all the time ( I’ve had mine 2 years and a stone hasn’t even been loose yet). Or how my rings aren’t going to match ect. I’m a firm believer when you know you found the ring you found it.

Beautiful rings! I actually am leaning toward an elongated stone (oval, rectangular radiant, etc.) to complement my fingers. Thank you for sharing!
The 2mm looks really good! It’s dainty but looks sturdy enough for everyday wear.
Thanks for the advice. I worry about the stones falling out, but we plan to order the ring in the correct size. I heard that sizing down can cause the prongs to loosen. I’m also planning on getting mismatched rings too!

2mm pave. Ring size is 4.5, and I’m also a long-fingered lady.

I really wanted pave too, but i love the look of a dainty band. Even 2 mm was thicker than I wanted. So i went with a very delicate shared prong 1.6 mm band. I love it more than the pave look, personally. If you are worried about the stones falling out, maybe thats another option? Unfortunately, the ring isn’t mine yet so i can’t show you pictures, but my avatar is the stock picture.

I wish I could shrink my finger half a size and take your ring! That’s a really helpful visual for me.
I never thought about getting a shared prong setting for an e-ring. I’ve seen it in wedding bands (like Sheryl0013’s above) and adore the look. Is it supposed to be more secure than pavé? Can’t wait to see yours!

@somethingaquamarine: here’s a picture of my solitaire with a pave band. I actually took it today after getting it cleaned while at the jewelry store looking for a wedding band!
I actually thought I had a 6.25 ring size, but being back at the jewelry store and trying on wedding bands, I’ve realized that I’m a 5.25 ring.

Im im not sure of the width but its a size 6. double row pave.

I’m loving the multi-row pavé look. So sparkly! I don’t want a matched set, so I think this could be a good option for me. I could see myself pairing these with a single row pavé band. Thank you for sharing!

2mm of pave, 4.75 ring size!

Similar size fingers… 5.5 ring finger. Bands are 1.5 mm or so each.. tiny. Very delicate pave on the bands and the halo. Ring is 1.33 center.
