wildflowerbride2020 :  hey, replying to you here as my post keeps getting marked as spam when I add tags. I just had to re-post for the 4th time! Anyway, I had responded to you:

Oh my gosh your stone is gorgeous and it compliments your skin tone beautifully! I think you made a good decision and it will look amazing in the setting you chose. Just wait til’ you see it set! Your heart will skip a beat, I’m sure.

And yes, I am slightly obsessed with sapphires now haha… I was in the final year of my degree when I did all this research and it served as an excellent procrastination avenue.

Beautiful rings, ladies! I wanted just a hint of orange so we went with a small padparadscha as an accent, and I think it plays beautifully off the bicolor lavendar/orange montana sapphire in the center.

Posting a video here, as I finally figured out how to do that!

<iframe src=”//player.vimeo.com/video/311655744?title=0&byline=0″ width=”425″ height=”350″ allowfullscreen=”allowfullscreen”></iframe>

And here is a photo of it in indirect daylight.

ETA: I have no idea what is going on with the video, it worked just a moment ago… Here is the link: https://vimeo.com/311655744

Not the best pick but here is mine 2.2 carat Pad Sapphire. Looks more pinky now it is set in the rose gold.

Congrats!! My fiance proposed in November with this gorgeous 2.1 ct Pad!! I’m super obsessed with the stone and the setting! I catch myself staring at it all the time. Pads are definitely the gift that keeps giving because every time you look at the you see more complexity.
