My ring size is 6.5. The center stone is 2.4 ct. I never found that it caught on everything. If the prongs aren’t set right, any ring can catch on clothing, etc. I found it quite comfortable to wear. Get what pleases your eye…

Here is mine.  I love pears, and they are still fairly uncommon where I live so I get lots of comments on it.  Another mixed metals girl!  The band is white gold and the halo is rose gold, which you can see pretty well in this photo, but is super subtle in person.  For size comparison, that is a 1 carat center on a 4.75 finger.  I like that the pear seems to cover more of your finger for the carat size.  I told my fiancé that I liked this setting and pears and ovals and this is what he chose ๐Ÿ™‚

Also, I don’t find mine gets caught on anything.  And he went with the highest color grade (D?) because I am pretty color sensitive and I don’t notice the rose gold tinting the diamond any more than what you see in the picture.  My stone does have a small bow tie, which I think is pretty common with pears and doesn’t bother me.  I don’t really notice it all that much.  But I know everyone is different, so some people might not be as sensitive to color but notice a different area more.  I would maybe look at some in a store if possible and see what sticks out to you personally if you aren’t sure.

Pairmypear84:  I love the solitaire pear but I’m personally not a fan of trillion stones in rings. You get a pear to show off the shape and a solitaire does that beautifully. It would be classically beautiful “peared” (see what I did there, lol) with a diamond wedding band ๐Ÿ™‚

I prefer the last one – the solitaire with the eternity band. It’s a classic look and really gorgeous.

Sorry, I don’t know the specs on it!  Just that it’s the same stone my dad gave my mom ๐Ÿ™‚ <3
