My Fiance and I need to order us some thank you cards, and we are having a tough time making a decision! We’re on a very tight budget (hoping to spend <$60 for ~120 thank you cards) but we really do want the cards to look professional and not too grainy. Can you show me what you’ve made/ordered and provide any advice on where to order from? Also, were you happy with the templates available or did you design your own card?
Here’s a couple cards that I am obsessed with, if it helps to show some inspiration:

We found the best prices on Kodak Gallery (now Shutterfly), and the cards turned out very nice for the price. Plus, you can always find a promo code or two to bring the cost down. Take a look at their 3×5 folded note cards.

On our wedding day, we took a picture holding a chalk board that said “Thank You”. Then I made the card using my macbook. I made a simple flat card. Under the picture, I put our names and the wedding date and wrote on the back.
For 30 cards with envelopes and shipping, it cost us just under $40 (CDN). I was very impressed with the quality.
For engagement and shower thank you cards, I just bought cards at Walmart.

I simply took mine to a local printer and had 300 postcards printed on card stock in a 3.5 x 5 size (or whatever the small pic frame size). The printers were able to print at least 2 per page and they were cut down so guest could frame an “official pic” of our wedding if they desired. I did not include the words Thank You on the pic for framing flexibility for those who desired.
It was very affordable and postage was cheaper as well.
This still served the purpose of the thank you note via our personalized MSG on the back but was a way to allow friends and family who I would have never purchased a pic for still have a nice memento from our special day. It was nice visiting the homes and or offices of extended families and friends and see our ” thank you” card nicely framed and on display.

I created our save-the-dates myself on the website http://www.picmonkey.com. Then I had them printed on regular photo paper from Walgreens, during a special promotion. They were $0.10 a piece!
(I blurred out our faces, last names & our location…due to online creepers.)
You can also have photo postcards printed the same way from Walgreens, on sale every few weeks for as low as $0.60/postcard! They have 4×6 folded cards like the one you posted for about the same price, too.
You can DEFINTIELY DIY these for WAY less than the $3.04 a pop that minted is asking.

I made ours in Adobe, then had them printed at VistaPrint (plus a few more at home when I ran out!).

I used vistaprint and bought a groupon $17 for $70 so only had to pay the $8 shipping for 90 of them
The back is blank for personal message (this pic is a little small)
